Virginia Macgregor's debut novel What Milo Saw, released July 31, has already been compared to Mark Haddon's The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and RJ Palacio's Wonder.

The novel centres on Milo, a nine year old boy who's slowly going blind, and his quest to uncover wrongdoings at his dementia-stricken grandmother's nursing home, and has been described as a 'poignant and very clever read' (Company) and a 'challenging and moving story' (Image). Macgregor, named after both Virginia Wade and Virginia Woolf, studied at Oxford and has previously worked as a teacher and housemistress.
